Desk setup · Used daily

The first ergonomic keyboard I did not abandon.

My notes on the Logitech Wave Keys after many long days of writing and product work.

I resisted changing keyboards because I assumed the adjustment would become another project. The Wave Keys was the rare compromise that felt different immediately without making every familiar key feel foreign.

Why it stayed on my desk

The shape is subtle. It gives my hands a less flat place to land, and the built-in rest means I am not meeting a hard desk edge all day. More importantly, I kept using it. A better tool that requires a total routine change is not always the better tool in practice.

The honest tradeoff

It is still a compact, mainstream keyboard. If you want a deeply configurable split setup, this is not that. If you already know you need something more specialized, it may be too gentle a change.

Who I would suggest it to

Someone who spends a lot of time typing, has noticed that a flat keyboard is no longer comfortable, and wants a low-friction first change. I would not treat a product review as a substitute for professional medical care.
