Desk setup · Used at my desk

A small fix for a sharp desk edge.

My notes on the VAYDEER keyboard wrist rest: useful, simple, and not right for every setup.

For a long time, the front edge of my desk was the thing I felt at the end of a workday. It was not glamorous, and it was easy to ignore, until it was not. This wrist rest solved a very small, very specific problem: it made that edge disappear.

What I like

It is uncomplicated and stable. There is no setup ritual, no software, and no claim that it changes everything. It just gives my hands a softer place to pause while I work.

What I would watch for

A rest changes the height of your hands. If your keyboard already has a substantial built-in rest, adding another one can make the position worse rather than better. Measure your own setup before copying mine.

My verdict

Useful if the hard desk edge is the problem you are trying to solve. Skip it if you are buying it as a universal answer or if your keyboard already provides the support you need.
